Police say Joseph Moreaux of Lancaster was cited and released on suspicion of peeping by means of an electronic device Sunday after a customer spotted the device hidden among boxes in the corner of the bathroom of the Family Christian Book Store.... Sgt. Dwight Thompson says the recording shows Moreaux hiding the video camera in the bathroom because it was taping as he positioned it.

That's not surprising.
I grew up in Lancaster, CA and it is one of the most conservative, Republican and fundamentalist Christian areas of the state. It also had the highest rate of sexual molestation in the state, at least during the 1980s and 1990s.
I was once walking through a movie theater's parking lot when a young lady approached me and told me I was going to go to Hell for being a man with an earring. It's that type of place!
Unless something has changed recently, there is one gay bar, one internet coffee house, zero strip clubs [there is one Bikini bar (WTF!)], zero four year colleges and all the movie theaters are owned by Cinemark and only show all the big studio films. I was very surprised "Milk" was shown there. I'm sure Measure 8 won big there.
This in a city of more than 145,074.
I got the fuck out of there as soon as possible.

Oh yeah, I almost forgot. Pete Knight was my State Senator.
