Arnold Schwarzenegger recently vetoed Assembly Bill 1176, and as the San Francisco Bay Guardian points out, the Governor's letter to the bill's sponsor, Tom Ammiano, appears to be more than just your typical rejection letter...

Tom Ammiano is getting a lesson on playing with the big boys.

There is more that one way to say "Kiss My Ass".

Perhaps the voters who elect Ammiano should look for someone who can be more effective for them in Sacramento...

Depending on what math you use, there's something like a 1 in 8 billion chance that this is unintentional and random.

That's sufficient for reasonable doubt, no?

@3 the same could be said about Schwarzenegger

that said, CA's worst or most bland Dem politicians usually percolate to the top much easier than the good ones.

judging by the awkwardness of the writing, I"m guessing it's Nabokovian intentional and I'm also guessing that Arnold didn't come up with it...

Don't forget the "I" and the "S". Lebowski style.

I disagree with Arnold on many things but that's pretty hilarious. And what's even more hilarious is the bitchy reaction in that sfbg.com article.

This will go miles toward rectifying the communications issues and hard feelings in the California Assembly. Way to lead, Gov. Schwarzenegger.

I wonder what he'll write when he vetoes the bill in California to legalize non-medical marijuana?

And the Oakland/San Francisco bay bridge falling apart today only added more weight to the FU. ( wieght as in not the parts that fell onto the cars injured one and stopped traffic for hours. I mean the weight of the bigger problem ...the money issue, repair of the bridge in long term , its gonna be their version of the viaduct issue here.etc.

Face it, Cali's screwed.

As we in WA will be if 1033 passes and we become a basket case like they are.

"Tom Ammiano" sounds exactly like "Toma mi Ano", that's Spanish for "Take my anus". First time I heard his name I just couldn't stop laughing.

It's unlikely that Arnold actually wrote this himself.

I love it when people who don't live and vote in San Francisco tell us who to not have in office. Whoever you are, if you don't live here, when it comes to Nancy Pelosi or Tom Ammiano, you don't matter. We like 'em the way they are.

That said, the Arnold prank is clever. I didn't think he had it in him.

Ha, if it was on purpose it kind of makes me like Arnold more. If I lived in California I'd vote for him just because he's witty.

Not sure I'd qualify that as witty. Juvenile, perhaps, but not witty.

@16, if SF was half the CA population or more, I'd understand... but (unfortunately) it isn't.

@19, Pelosi (U.S. - House) and Ammiano (State - Assembly) are representatives for San Francisco, so all we need is more than half their constituents.
