That's how many households watched last night's mayoral debate (watch it here) on KING 5, according to a research analyst at the station, citing Nielsen data. The vast majority of viewership was over 50. The number of adults age 50+ who watched: 32,972. The number of adults age 25-54 who watched: 18,971. The total number of men (18+) who watched: 16,833. The total number of women (18+) who watched: 26,464.

The station doesn't have numbers available for online viewership.

I think that most of the younger crowd watched it online...i certainly did; i have no TV, and i would venture a guess that a lot of people in their 20's don't.

Could Mallahan be the Seattle version of George Bush? He seems unqualified to lead our city and over matched at these debates and is told what to do and say; and he doesn't even want to extend the Burk Gillman Trail! Who is this guy? Or rather, who are these people running the Mallahan camp?
