Every single senior elected official in or from Louisiana has denounced the justice of the peace who refused to marry an interracial couple.... except Sen. David Vitter. And it's not because he hasn't been asked...

One must remember that he's an elected official that represents a collection of individuals that think as he thinks. He's not alone in his darkness.

Vitter was one of the Repub guys who voted against the Franken amendment - a government ban on doing business with companies that prohibit (cough*Halliburton*cough) women from suing for sexual harassment or reporting sexual assault.

When is someone going to nail this scumbag on the Senate floor with a, "Why don't you go change your diaper, sweetheart?"

@1, take out the "gay man" part and you'll find that "uneducated, sheltered, reactionary, aging and paranoid" is a pretty good description of Vitter. And for all I know "gay" might be applicable as well.
