Ouch

A new anti-Constantine ad, sent to me this afternoon by veteran Republican consultant (and dirty tricktser) Stan Shore:

The very fine print at the end gives you a hint of where the money behind this ad is coming from, or at least the top five contributors: Affordable Housing Council, Eastside Business Alliance, Kemper Holdings, Bruce and Jolene McCaw, and CalPortland.

Shore says $150,000 has been dropped on the ad, which is currently running "a lot on cable, some on broadcast—especially targeted to swing areas—and on a lot of stations like BRAVO, CNN, FOX, KING, OXYGEN, LIFETIME, AMC."

Remember, they only win when they can instill Fear Uncertainty and Doubt in you.

Go with Tao and let it flow past you.

And then cast your ballot.

How asinine. As was pointed out in the previous short thread about this, Hutchinson is slamming Dow for things Republicans would be celebrating if she were the one responsible for them.

Did anyone else catch Susan Republican Hutchinson's admission that she would raise taxes. Right after she promised never to raise taxes?

Man, it's like she can't stop herself from lying.

I have never been able to understand what is up with the McCaws. Susan Hutchison? Kemper Freeman? These are the people you choose to associate with? Yeesh.

Don't like her - but - the commercial is world class work.

Things go bad, someone takes a hit. He is taking the hit.

Serves him right for being an egomaniacal jerk. As a dem, I have no choice but to hold my nose and vote for him, but I am not happy being faced with such crappy choices for KC Exec this time around.

Mudbaby, anyone that knows Dow knows that the last thing he is is either egomaniacal or a jerk. You, mudbaby, are a whiny shithead that volunteered for the rotten animal shelters that he was forced to shut down. Despite your protestations, I have read numerous postings from other volunteers and people who work there that corroborate what Dow was saying and put the lie to your spewings. Dow is absolutely adored by his constituents, because he has served them wisely, intelligently, honorably, and he deeply cares about this community in which he grew up in. You don't know a goddamn thing about him, so why don't you just move the fuck back to new york where you belong.
