Wasting Money?

Wasting money on protein powders and creatine? I got a better solution for you. Find out what I did.

Um... what DID you do? It ain't right. Can you put it back? I kinda think you were pretty okay before. Also, this internet ad just keeps popping up today. It makes me think of Thanksgiving. Well, Thanksgiving turkey. And Thanksgiving turkey recipes. And that's not right either.

It took a whole 30 days to create a bad photoshop?

I think Consumerist.com had something on this ad last week. The photo was apparently recognized by a man who wrote and told Consumerist that the photos are of his son, copied from some health club's website, where his son has worked on his bodybuilding. The change from "before" to "after' took 3 or 4 YEARS, not 30 days.

creatine is good if you can't sleep and have PTSD, actually

have no idea what else you guys use it for, though

Assuming you are absolutely perfect in your diet and exercise 24/7/265 maybe you could do that in a year but you would be an obsessive freak.

Also I take Creatine before a night of bing drinking so my muscles hold my water I will need when I am dehydrated/sick/vomiting later.

Perhaps they should change the ad copy to: '30 days and you too can look like a total douche with a bad hairstyle and a fake tan!'

It's like anorexia for men. I appreciate a 6 pack as much as the next person, but the constant pressure makes we want to slam back a few beers, maybe 6.

That is one dessicated turkey.

Am I the only one who thinks the dude looks kind of hot in the before picture?

Come on, the fat picture is not attractive - he's fat and doughy!

Don't get me wrong, the other one looks vain and sick too.

I hate quick fix diet/exercise plans. Looking fit is not that unattainable but if a person is fat then it does take some time and patients.

A regular workout routine (doesn't have to be too strenuous or time consuming), and not eating or drinking junk is all it takes.

Again, if you're fat it takes more time. Stick it out and your liver won't explode like it will on the 30 day plan.

These ads are just about as annoying as the random sluts from the Evony game flashing cleavage.

PLAY NOW SECRETLY MY LORD

@16,

That's pretty typical. My brother was a pro bodybuilder for a few years and did all that stuff... painted on tans, bizarre diet, dehydrating before competitions, etc. It's a whole world of its own.

The two men in these images don't seem to share the same nose. I don't think noses change their shape or length from weight loss.

There was a Johnny Walker commercial playing while I read this post stating: "Sometimes 'progress' is knowing when to stop."

@19,

The eyebrows are the same. Besides, in the second picture, he's grinning. My nose looks very different depending on whether I'm smiling or neutral.

It also evidently makes your skin turn darker.

Those two pictures aren't the same person. And I agree, the guy in the "before" picture is the more attractive one. I've never found big muscles appealing- guys who are a little soft around the middle look like much better cuddle partners.

They are the same dude. Google "Adam Waters". He even has a bunch of youtube videos up.
