Politics Two Unknown Quantities

The race for Seattle City Council Position 4 is down to two candidates, neither of whom who have held [a Seattle] office before: David Bloom, a progressive minister, and Sally Bagshaw, who worked in the King County Prosecutor's Office.

Who would best represent your interests—and get things done—as a city lawmaker?

Ask them questions in Electionland, the Stranger's online Town Hall forum that you can read while drinking a beer. You can also check out their bios. Write your questions in advance, like right now, and Bloom and Bagshaw will answer Tuesday from 1:00 p.m to 3:00 p.m. Lots of folks have asked questions, and you can vote on the best and worst of them.

I believe Sally has held office before, not in Seattle, but in Lake Forest Park. She was on their City Council.

Yeah, she definitely has. Her experience in suburbia goes a long way towards explaining her conservative bent.
