Reading Today

Two readings today.

The Hugo House hosts Artocratic Magazine's debut party. Artocratic is an online magazine. There will be an "electronic music jam," which frankly sounds frightening.

The reading of the day is Ed Skoog at Open Books. Skoog's new book is called Mister Skylight. Skoog is one of Seattle's best poets. You can read some samples over here. I suggest starting with "Little Song," which is an unabashed love poem the likes of which they don't make anymore.

The full readings calendar, including the next week or so, is here. And if you're planning on staying in and you're looking for personalized book recommendations, feel free to tell me the books you like and ask me what to read next over at Questionland.

I love the reading of the day post, but could you please put times in the post? It would be really helpful! Thanks!
