Today at 1:00 p.m., City Attorney Tom Carr and challenger Pete Holmes will duke it out answering your questions in Electionland. You can go ask a question now.

Joe recently asked Carr why he issued subpoenas to three Seattle Times reporters in 2007. "Was this attempt to out anonymous whistle blowers a good idea, and why or why not?" he asks.

Another reader, defman23, asks Holmes to clarify his stance on removing domestic violence advocates from the prosecutor's office. And DOUG asks, "Do you think Seattle's Obstruction statute (SMC 12A.16.010) is overbroad, and is it ever abused as a 'catch all' by SPD officers?"

You can vote "thumbs up" or "thumbs down" on all the questions, thereby increasing and decreasing the chances they'll get answered. Keep asking anything you like until 1 p.m. Then no more questions, and the candidates take over. But you can vote on the candidates' answers.

I'm surprised nobody has asked what we plan to do about Jugalos on Broadway.
