Don't Get Fooled Again

Posted by on Mon, Sep 28, 2009 at 10:26 AM

Did it bother anyone else that there was a billboard for Oceanic Air in the background of one shot in the pilot episode of ABC's newest ooky-spooky drama Flash Forward? And the "stunning moment" in the last few seconds of the show—the one that could be ruined by spoilers—everyone saw that coming, right?

Just you Dan, just you. If you look closely at the billboard, it has a nice little spoiler for the upcoming season of Lost.

And who cares if we all saw it coming. The premise is still interesting enough to keep me around. I have also read the book so I know more but am interested in seeing how they do things differently.

I'll watch anything with Joseph Fiennes, esp. now that he's appearing with less eyeliner.

The only tv I have watched for the a very long time has been hbo.... but its not tv its hbo.
I was interested in watching modern family though. I saw previews for it a few times while at a movie theater. I missed it though and completely forgot about it.

What is this "TV" of which you speak?

Modern Family felt a little been-done-before, with the mock documentary stuff, but I must say that the cream puff scene made me laugh out loud in the commercial for it.

It's starting to bug me a bit that Anglo/Irish actors are taking over American TV...like 5 of the stars of this show and they're all playing American characters.

This is NOT acceptable when Scott Baio and Heather Locklear are between series...

@13 Come on - we owe the Brits one or two for Gwyneth Paltrow and Renee Zellweger.

Worse than posting spoilers is teasing about spoilers. Now I want to know what happens in the last 2 secs...

There's a book!? Great I won't have to watch the show, a book is always better. I doubt the show will last more than one season anyway. I agree we do not need Brits( or Australians) taking work away from poorly trained American actors. The nerve.
