Post by news intern Garrett McCulloch

I Don't Think That's What Everyone Means When They Say "Going Green": Seahawks will wear fluorescent green today in an effort to burn Seattle's retinae.

Luckily, New Retinae Are On The Way: Clinical trials having some success at bringing vision to the blind.

No Commitment: Obama's decision on troops in Afghanistan will wait.

Glenn Beck: More protesters than idiot fans on the streets of Mount Vernon.

Coffee Tasters? Apparently they exist.

You Damn Kids: And your speeding.

Nuclear: U.S. will demand inspection of Iran facility in the coming weeks. And what happens if Iran gets a bomb, anyway?

Deutschland: German president probably re-elected.

Arrested: Child molestin' director Roman Polanski picked up trying to enter Switzerland.

I wouldn’t say that the fans hold the copyright on idiocy, as far as Glenn Beck is concerned.

German Chancellor (aka prime minister) probably re-elected. Not president.

Their president is an unelected symbolic figure with a big house who gives a Christmas address.

Inspections, ultimatums, do they or don't they, what if, etc etc... this is all sounding so 2002.

Good technology news this week:

Don't be naive. There were 2,000,000 Glenn Beck fans in Mt Vernon. The liberal media is trying to rewrite history by claiming there were any less.

You call this crap 'news'?

What about the ballgame last night:

Washington’s momentum from its shocking upset of Southern California lasted for all of the 3 seconds it took the opening kickoff to land and be promptly returned 91 yards for a Stanford touchdown on the way to a 34-14 spanking of everybody's favorite West Coast college football easy date.

The new losing streak stands at 1.

In other good news #6 California choked (and died- Heimlich maneuver anyone?!) at Oregon 42-3 making it very unlikely the PAC will get a team into to national Title game.

Isn't today the day that some drag queen sings the national anthem for some game in San Francisco? Now that's news.

And regarding those football uniforms, just more proof that all sports uniforms are designed by straight men. (No offense to straight men.)
