There is a bungalow fair! With books! And an Erotic Open Mic! And other readings today, too!

At Barnes & Noble University Village, June Cotner will read. Dog Blessings is a collection of writings about dogs. Apparently dogs, like Jesus, can give blessings now.

At the University Temple United Methodist Church, Dahr Jamail reads. Jamail is a photojournalist who spent a lot of time in Iraq. The Will to Resist is his new book. It's about soldiers who refuse to fight. This is the reading of the day.

The full readings calendar, including the next week or so, is here. And if you're planning on staying in and you're looking for personalized book recommendations, feel free to tell me the books you like and ask me what to read next over at Questionland.

Jeez, I was just going to comment proposing that "dog blessings" is a euphemism for dog shit. I can fault your nettiquette but not your cause, Socialist Worker Spammer.
