An Afghan immigrant wanted to carry out a New York City terror attack involving hydrogen peroxide bombs to coincide with the Sept. 11 anniversary before federal authorities foiled the plan, a U.S. prosecutor said Friday.
According to Dallas News, "Hosam Maher Husein Smadi was arrested Thursday after he parked a vehicle laden with government-supplied fake explosives in the underground parking garage of Fountain Place, a 60-story tower in the 1400 block of Ross Avenue at North Field Street, authorities said. "
A would-be terrorist was arrested in Springfield, Illinois, for allegedly attempting to detonate a truck bomb to blow up a federal building and kill its occupants, officials said Thursday.

It seems like an enterprising, young wouldbe-terrorist ought not to trust mysterious benefactors who offer him or her trucks full of "explosives" ready to detonate. Good thing these terrorists aren't the DIY-type. Anyway, glad to see the FBI earning its keep.

and in the meantime, the US military keeps murdering innocent Iraqi and Afghani civilians by the thousands... No wonder they hate us. End terrorism by ending the war. Now if Obama really was the reincarnation of Hitler, he would have looked the other way and allowed the terrorist attack to happen- then he'd have used it as an excuse to broaden government powers and crush the bill of rights (much like Hitler did with the Reichstag Fire).

The really scary part are that the muslim fanatics are easier to track and spot, because they don't grow up in places where people have easy access to and use explosives and guns.

#4 is right. Afghani civilians are paying the price of U.S. intervention in their country. Those lives are no less important than the lives of American citizens.

Because Barack Hussein Mohammed Obama, our Usurper in Chief, has gone out of his way to cozy up to our enemies, and apologize for America's greatness, I think a major terrorist attack is inevitable, one that will make 9/11 look like a walk in the park.
