Is your cell phone leaking more radiation into your head than other cell phones would? Of course, no one will actually say that radiation served directly into your brain via your earhole is bad*, but we'll find out when we all grow antlers in 20 years. RADIOACTIVE ANTLERS! Meanwhile, if you want your antlers to be bigger or smaller, you may find out what phone to get over here.

*"Some (not all) studies of frequent cell-phone users suggest this radiation may increase risks for cancer or children's behavior problems."

I'm too lazy to go find and read those studies, but might it be possible that a correlation between behavior problems and cell phone usage in kids might indicate something other than big bad radiation at work?

And remember kids, AM radio will mutate your children, high tension power lines will mutate your livestock, microwave broadband will mutate your organic garlic, and radiation from the sun will give about 10% of us awesome super powers.

While a lot of smart phones emit more radiation, they're probably held to the head less, since they're used as computers as much or more than as phones. I'd say maybe 5% of the time I spend using my phone is spent using the phone. So, only radioactive antlers growing out of my hands for me!

This is radio-frequency electromagnetic radiation, not the "radioactive" kind of radiation (which is called ionizing radiation.) There's a big difference.

Which is maybe too bad, 'cause antlers would rule.

Another question that comes to mind...since the phones that are ranked "worst" radiate more signal, does that mean they'd have the fewest dropouts?

@9: That would probably depend in large part on the network. Which means, regardless of the phone, if it's AT&T, it's gonna suck.

@10: I just switched from Sprint to AT&T, and the reception is far better. Maybe that just proves how hard Sprint sucks.

I saw a show on Discovery last night about pigs. . ."Pig Bomb" and if these pigs take over we won't have to worry about radiation.
Glad my phone is on the the lowest radiation chart all the same.

My LG Chocolate 3 gets a 4/5 on the Rad-o-Meter. I guess my antlers will be bitchin'.

Not only are we constantly being bombarded by RADIATION, we are also ingesting and being exposed to CHEMICALS on a regular basis. As a result, we are all FUCKED and will eventually DIE. Oh no!
