...and Cynthia McFadden's got it all!

Cynthia McFatten is a muckraking hag.

Tyra Banks is hot, talented, funny and endlessly patient with this provocateur who's doing nothing but building her own ratings on the back of Tyra's career and work ethic.

after she did that show where she took off her bra and showed her boulders handing to the floor...no...can't look at her...

I don't know why people hate her. I admit I had a (perhaps sexist, pretty-girl-ist) expectation for her to be dumb and fail, but she's proven herself to be bright and resilient on her talk show. I can't stand the model show, though; her persona is so... Cleopatra -- too precious.

I'm not sure what lured me to watch this piece but here's what I see. McFadden is being smarmy and sneaky. She is not conducting much of an interview. Banks is crafty and wily and clearly knows how to talk to interviewers. I know why McFadden participated in this silliness but I'm not sure what Banks got out of it. What silly TV.

i love the way mcfadden and others of her ilk "ask" a question: they make statements or quote others, then sit back expectantly and wait for a response. when they don't get one they try more provocation, then make it sound like the subject is avoiding the question. you didn't ASK one, asshole! and the interview subject is smart enough to recognize this.

If you're interviewing someone, at least get the names right! "Pauline Porvikova, Pauline Pornikova." Sheeeee-it. And seriously? The women who win this (and many who don't) are working as models. And sure there's Drama; it's a competitive show about women trying to look better than other women. It's inherently silly drama. But it's fun & Tyra shows a hell of a lot of poise here in the face of a truly silly interview.

Wow, this video actually renews my respect for Tyra. She totally used the Socratic method and after that moment, she knew she had the upper hand in that interview. Everything after that was just awkward for McFadden. What a lousy interviewer, she sure seemed crass.

Oh wow, Dickinson's response to this interview was basically as though Banks had actually said she was jealous, rather than "no comment."

Oh, people. You're the worst.

err How does Tyra look smart and classy in this interview. McFadden basically called her on all her bull. I'm pretty surprised at the pro-Tyra comments in here. She's crazy--I thought that was common knowledge. Her talk show is tawdry, and her reality show is stupid. Cynthia's interview was a breath of fresh air in my opinion.
