Regarding your post about Palestine not talking to Israel until demands are met. This headline is not representative of the whole story [SURPRISE!]

Here are the demands from the linked story: "The demands were easing the Israeli security measures and restrictions on commercial crossing points, allowing dairy products export from the West Bank through Israel, issuing movement permissions for businessmen, increasing the number of Palestinians to be admitted in Israeli hospitals and so on."

Wow, those are really unreasonable demands, especially when Israel is illegally occupying the West Bank, choking off the life of the Palestinians there.

Re: the identity theft story:
"But police couldn't arrest Locke right then, so she left when the credit application was refused."

Are you fucking kidding me? It'd be awful to have been face to face to someone who stole your identity and the cops just go "sorry, can't help," and you have to watch them walk away.

Not only that, but the article says that some of them plead guilty and are now "facing prison terms." $5 says they get suspended sentences.

"Manufacturing a Photo Op: Obama to announce a manufacturing adviser at a picnic."

Is he going to be another hate-whitey, self-described communist negro like Van Jones?

I sure hope so.

Obama's Cincinnati speech was great: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/21134540/vp/…

(no mention of dropping his support for the public option...yet...though he did say he was saving something for Wednesday).

And the crowd very supportive (no surprise there). Hopefully BO persuaded our spineless "dem" rep Driehaus to support health care reform over the limp protestations of teabaggers.
