You call this 'news'?

What about the game last night:

The Washington Huskies extended their loosing streak to 15 games giving it up like an easy date to the LSU Tigers.

The Huskies are one loss from tying Oregon State’s Pac-10 record for consecutive losses!

The undefeated Idaho Vandals will be in town next week to do the record-tying honors.
Oooh- Vandals!
Good thing the Huskettes like it rough and dirty!

Washington State also lost.
Between them the two Washington schools managed 23 losses last year and are manfully maintaining the pace this season.

Speaking of Football-
I can't believe Slog isn't going to mention that today is the one year anniversary of Washington's game with BYU.
The Huskies invited Savage's favorite Homophobic Asshole Bigots to Oz to show them how we do it in Sophisticated Secular Seattle-
bottoms up and cheeks spread obligingly wide.
Washington went on from the heartbreaking soulcrushing one point loss to lose 12 more (and counting).
BYU has done alright for themselves;
last night they visited the #3 in the nation Oklahoma Sooners and pulled a Proposition 8-
coming from behind in the last minutes to pull a SHOCKING UPSET.

It was a year ago that Frizzelle, Nelson, Forney, Alexie and The Stranger put on that Hall & Oates show at Bumbershoot. It was godawful.

I see the Obama administration has knuckled under to the demands of the right wing again. Inviting Rick Warren to the Inauguration was the beginning of the contempt that the Republicans and the right would hold this president. And Obama continues to try to please the unpleasable. Watch him come crawling to the right wing when he gives up his promise of a public option. Some bull about a "trigger" which is meant to mollify the progressives and effectively kills the public option. Sad and disappointing beyond my wildest imaginings.

Do a post about the Pierce County park sex sting. They said they could have arrested 100 that day if the had more manpower. KIRO had a quote saying 95% of the men were married. Can't we just leave the Republicans alone.

@6: only if you think Obama had a lot invested in Van Jones.

Also, what's up with comments 1-3 of the morning news always being by what appears to be the same troll? That's weird, right?

anti gay organizing/ ballot measure = anti gay sting

I think the dots connect

and, new right wing aggressive regrouping = gay hate as well

(the old KKK, Amer. Nazi/Militia plus other assorted far righters have NEVER been close to rational on gay rights)

get ready to be called pervert in public forums

And still nothing Christopher about the rumor that Glenn Beck raped and murdered a young lady in 1990?

This isn't the news at all. Why won't Glenn Beck deny that he raped and murdered a young lady in 1990?!?!? Why won't he provide proof that he did not commit such a crime?!?!?

@12: Now that my work blocks the Slog, they've been seeping in to fill the vacuum. Yes. It's my fault.

RE: Van Jones - This isn't about Mumia Abu-Jamal, it isn't about the 9/11 petition, it's about discrediting the Obama administration by any possible means. Now that Van Jones is out they'll be digging around for another adviser who once held a controversial opinion. The blowing of shit will never stop. Every Democrat in DC needs to man up and confront the Republican noise machine. The assholes need to be called out for their assholery. It's not about fighting dirty, it's about refusing to be bullied.
