Books You Got Pictures In My Words: PS Comics

What's the book? PS Comics by Minty Lewis.

What's it about? It's a collection of comic strips by an entertaining young cartoonist. The cartoons involve talking terriers having relationship troubles, anthropomorphic fruits who must deal with sexual harassment in the workplace, and a few one-off strips.

What's the art look like?

Do you recommend it? I do. Some of Lewis's strips are a little amateurish, but they've still got a lot of charm. And the way they avoid mawkish sentimentality should really be a cause for celebration: Some of these terrier strips are really fucking poignant. I wouldn't recommend this for someone just getting into comics, but if you have a wide range of tastes and you're looking for something different, this is the book for you.
