Dearly beloved, forgive me if you've already seen this. I can't stop laughing.

Has to be fake - although I can't imagine doing this without getting paid. I mean, putting on a wedding dress and going into the drink and all.

Would anyone in a wedding gown take her vows on a precipice above a pool? I don't think so.

By the way, best wishes, Bethany.

Any drawing from "The Famliy Circus" is funnier than that.

Any bit done by Pat Cashman is funnier than that.

Any column written by William Stephen Humphrey is funnier than that.

That's how lame that was.

@4 watch the bride a little closer. She's not even looking at the guy.

The camera is in close on the officiant, then pulls back just in time for the fall.

It's fake. It's old. Go try to be cool at the Crocodile and leave us alone.

Also, your own blog posted this months ago. It's not just fake, or old, but it's a rehash of your own content. Fail.

The fact that nobody laughs is a bad omen for the marriage.

I agree with you, Bethany Jean Clement. I think this is funny. Wish I hadn't read the comments because I'd rather just laugh.

Oh come on jaded people. That's a bloody lot of trouble to go to for a fakey.

Best man's footwork reminds me of Agador Spartacus in The Birdcage. Maybe he's just not used to shoes.

Wow! Someone offers you a free laugh – no strings attached and not trying to sell you anything – and you thank them by going for the throat.

Nice job on the lack of humanity.

I got a laugh out of it – thanks for that.

PS. Trolls are also staged and fake but they don't seem to go away either.

This video is just an example of what will happen when gay marriage is made legal! Straight people won't be able to stop falling down at their weddings.

@11: I thought the same thing. If you were one of the two that ended up in the pool, wouldn't you start laughing hysterically? And if you were the groom/wedding party, wouldn't you immediately jump in and get on with it? As with most funny things, it's funny in part because it's tragic. Real or staged, this is a drama of doomed romance.
