Joe Mallahan Isn't At His Own Party

Posted by on Tue, Aug 18, 2009 at 8:16 PM

We're here in the back of Fado and the room just paused and then excitedly shouted when the results of the mayor's race were announced:

Nickels 27%
Mallhan 26%.

Everybody in the room seems to be excited the numbers are so close. One man next to us just excitedly yelled out "It might be Mallahan and McGinn! Nickels might not make it! Then we'd have a race!"

Joe hasn't arrived yet (how fashionable!) but he's allegedly coming by soon.

Update:
the buffet is empty! Repeat: the buffet is empty. Mallahan is reportedly eating dinner with his family while the SECB starves.

Silly parties. Everyone mailed their ballots in today. Everyone i know who voted did. The SLOG pole has it at about 40%. This is silly.
