Politics McGinn Is Answering Questions for One More Hour

Here's how it's going so far:
Q: "Do you favor the Legalization and Taxation of cannabis?"
A: "Yes. If every politician who ever smoked pot supported this it would happen in a heartbeat. I would support efforts at the state and federal level to decriminalize marijuana."
Q: "How will you use the bully pulpit of the mayor's to promote LGBT rights within the city of Seattle *as well as* in the state of Washington?"
A: "I publicly support marriage equality, oppose the proposed referendum to take away rights, and will ensure our police department aggressively responds to hate crimes. Seattle values on these issues are pretty clear, and I will stand up for them."
