It's in a display window near the entrance to Uwajimaya:

perhaps contemplate upon:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crayon_Shin…
wherein we may read:
"Many of the jokes in the series stem from Shin-chan's occasionally weird, unnatural and inappropriate use of language, as well as from his inappropriate behavior. Consequently, non-Japanese readers and viewers may find it difficult to understand his jokes."

"I can't wait to poop this" -- isn't that what most bloggers say when they read something good and then go to post?

US-based Anime fans can have terrible senses of humor as well, i think it's culturally independent.

So what, is it the Japanese equivalent to the Family Circus?

Oh, those wacky kids! With their freakish lateral thinking/disconnect from reality, saying the darndest things.

What I want to know is why the "dad" in this poster is sitting cross-legged with apparently no pants on.

There's a lot of sex and fecal humor in Shin-Chan. It's mostly about the kid embarrassing his parents and do socially improper things.

The dog is not so sure about pooping this later. Let alone eating it now.
Who would take food from a zombie-mother anyway? Highly suspect, methinks.
Hey! What are they actually eating anyway?
