Crime Homicide in Haller Lake, Shooting in South Park

Seattle police are investigating a murder in North Seattle. Just after 6:30 this morning, police responded to the 13300 block of Stone Avenue North and found a man lying in the street. The man, who was in his mid-twenties, was found dead at the scene, after suffering several gunshot wounds. Homicide detectives are investigating. 
Earlier this morning, around midnight, officers also responded to a call of shots fired in the 1000 block of South Sullivan Street.
Witnesses reported seeing a white SUV roll by a house on the block, and someone in the vehicle opened fire, striking a person inside the house. The victim was treated by medics and taken to Harborview with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police stopped the SUV on I-5 ten minutes later and took two suspects into custody. Officers found at least one gun in the car. Gang unit detectives are investigating.

@1: yep, you are dead-on. There's a conspiracy afoot to increase crime to allow for cheaper mass transit, and it reaches all the way up to our highest elected officials. Or is it originating from them? I always forget.

I live right across Aurora on Linden and 135th and I tell you, it has gotten worse over the last five years. Now that they closed the trailer park that used be on 143rd and Linden, it seems as though we have seen a quadrupling (I just love using that word!) of RVs and trailers strewn about. My boyfriend's truck has been stolen, we see prosties of all shapes, ages, and stature milling about, and I have caught a sex deal going down-in the middle of cock sucking action in the parking lot next to our apartments. Right along a busy bike trail and on the route many kids take back from Broadview Elementary. And this was broad daylight. When the cops came they basically said that there wasn't much they could do about and they are fighting an uphill battle with all the hookers and crime on Aurora. He basically said I needed to move west of Linden to escape the crime. Its a shame, I like the location a lot and grew up on Bitter Lake. Its frustrating. Makes me want to move back to Bellevue and Republican. Not.

Well, that's interesting....maybe "your friend" should tell the police more of what she know's....because apparently she knew when he went outside to meet his friend....so she also knows what friend he talked to and went outside to meet....you'd think since she was there with him that she may have also noticed he hadn't come back to the room yet and seeing that he was on foot.....uh, maybe she could have went and found him and called the police before 6:30 in the morning. Over Money??? sounds like more than 1 of you have some answers that might be helpful in getting the guy arrested. don't you think you should step up. Sounds like the conspiracy is all of you covering the "girlfriend's" ass. Good luck with that!
