Two readings tonight.
Rachel Brownell reads at Elliott Bay Book Company tonight. Mommy Doesn't Drink Here Anymore: Getting Through the First Year of Sobriety is a memoir that easily wins the title-of-the-week competition.
And up at Third Place Books, it's Brooks Palmer. Not even Palmer's book, titled Clutter Busting: Letting Go of What's Holding You Back, could help fix the garbage-stuffed sink hole of philosophic thought that is Charles Mudede's cubicle. In fact, as a test, I put a copy of Palmer's book in Mudede's cubicle to see what would happen to it. It has now disappeared, probably consumed by a newly self-aware volume of Heidegger.
The full readings calendar, including the next week or so, is here. And if you're planning on staying in and you're looking for personalized book recommendations, feel free to tell me the books you like and ask me what to read next over at Questionland.
