As we've mentioned, Northwest Film Forum is in the middle of a big fundraising push—trying to raise $70,000 by August 15. You can send them some money online, or in the mail, or whatever, and receive the satisfaction of supporting the arts in return; OR you can go to the theater on your little feet (you and your little feet!), hand them some money with your little hand, and receive a movie ticket in return. And then watch a movie. It's like giving to KUOW and getting some stupid tote bag, only the tote bag is made of moving pictures and won't just sit in the bottom of your closet collecting spiders for the next decade. Everybody wins! Don't you want the equivalent of a tote bag only better (and no spiders!)? I think going to see a movie at NWFF is a tote-ally good idea! Get it? Like tote bag? Ha ha...ha?
Tomorrow (only!) at NWFF it's Viva VHS!, which has this awesome poster and this not-quite-as-awesome-but-still-cute trailer:
Movies: Better than Spiders 100% of the Time.
