Up at Third Place Books, Clark Crouch, who is "a cowboy poet and performing artist from Bothell," reads from his collection of poems, titled Views From the Saddle.
At Elliott Bay Book Company, Kevin Canty reads from Where The Money Went, a collection of stories about "decaying or ruined relationships." Just in time for beach reading!
But the reading of the night is at Neptune Coffee. Amelia Gray, Evelyn Hampton and Lotte Kestner will read and/or possibly perform music. Gray is the author of AM/PM, a collection of 120(!?!) short stories about 23 characters. She and some other young writers (and a musician with at least 4.5 names) will read and possibly perform music. This could be the best reading of the week and you should go.
The full readings calendar, including the next week or so, is here. And if you're planning on staying in and you're looking for personalized book recommendations, feel free to tell me the books you like and ask me what to read next over at Questionland.
