(A) The price of a bottle of 80 proof Wild Turkey after Saturday's liquor tax hike.

(B) The amount of money Joe Mallahan has spent on the arts since 2006.

(C) The suggested donation at an upcoming fundraiser for James Donaldson featuring former Sonics player Shawn Kemp as a celebrity waiter.

(D) The amount of money Kemp donated to Donaldson's campaign last week.

(C) It's the suggested donation at a Donaldson fundraiser this Sunday at Island Soul on Rainier Ave. where beloved former Sonic Shawn Kemp will be serving guests a menu of Calypso wings, plantains, coconut muffins, tostones, and salad. Fifty bucks to meet Shawn Kemp AND hang out with Donaldson campaign manager Cindi Laws? Not bad.

If regular old 80 proof Wild Turkey cost $50 I think I'd just become a monk. Then I would have a lifetime to master distilling and fermenting my own booze.

The one thing I miss about California is the $30 bottles of Balvenie Doublewood at TJs.
