More and More African Laughter

Posted by on Mon, Aug 3, 2009 at 1:16 PM

Salon reports:

To hear the Birthers tell it, their Holy Grail has been found: Over the weekend, de facto movement leader Orly Taitz released a photo of what is supposedly a certified copy of a Kenyan birth certificate for President Obama, which shows that he was born in Mombasa, Kenya, and not in Hawaii.

If you have a Coke, you have a smile; if have a look, you have a laugh:

This actually was a laugh. Salon debunks the document as a forgery -- the mistakes in the document are actually pretty hilarious...

Really? There's no Birther out there who could actually produce an even moderately convincing forgery?

@1, you assume any of the birthers made it out of 5th grade.

of course these asses would accept as fact a photo of a forgery of a Kenyan birth certificate and not a photo of a Hawaiian one. Seriously, these people can't possibly make up more than a part per billion of the USA's collective IQ; why does this crap keep popping up in MSM like it's of any importance whatsoever?

I just found out that Obama has a Nigerian cousin, and he's wiring me a copy of his birth certificate and a check for a million dollars - I only have to send him $10,000 for processing fees!

Trust in Documents != Africa

@3, Bill Maher didn't explain why it shows up all the time but he did explain why every single damn time one of these bat crazies makes these accusations they must be beat down again and again.

I mean who would ever have thought Whitewater would amounted to anything and look where that lead us. We ended up impeaching a President over a blow job.

I have to admit, my favorite part of this whole birther issue is that the president doesn't even dignify it with even a denial. It keeps the birhters SO lathered up and keeps them away from any real issues.

Shiny, birthers, shiny!!!

I hope they can keep this going until 2012. The best thing is how the Republicans won't make some sort of public refutal. (I guess that would require a leader.)

If I were a Republican, I don't think I could leave the house anymore without some sort of disguise.

Love the birthers and their quest for "authentic" evidence. Obvious evidence of Obama's American birth aside, do these ass hats not think that if he's at the heart of an amazing worldwide consipiracy to cover his birth based on some tiny clause in the Founding Fathers' documents, that he couldn't muster the power of governmental organizations to furnish a foolproof replica to silence them?

Ow... logic... fuck, my head...
