Dear Ford: I love my 98 Taurus, but please make the following changes. First, while it takes a real idiot to want to jack my stereo from the whole oval integrated dashboard thing, it prevents me from putting anything cool in my car without cannibalizing it first. Second, low-riding is nice, but not when the car is the height of a Mustang and the length of an Escalade. It's like driving a goddamn boat.

I like to imagine that everywhere Kate Bush goes, to this day, she's got a smoke machine trailing at her feet and a wind machine breezing through her locks.

great story - cop, writing rant about how the media portray cops as insensitive and power-tripping, comes off as insensitive, power-tripping, AND racist.

Everyone's seen that cop video where a guy in an SUV is pulled over and proceeds to go absolutely apeshit at the cop, right? The cop stands there, takes the high road and proceeds to calmly write the guy up for littering when he tears the speeding ticket up and throws it on the ground. Now THERE'S a public servant.

My parents got a Taurus back in 1984 (?) when they first came out. I have to admit for an American made car it wasn't too bad; for an American made car that is.

Okay, just went to the Ford Website. The new Taurus is going to fail big time. They seriously think people are going to jump in for a Taurus costing nearly $30K with not even all the options?!?!? AND it's still a gas guzzler???

Fuck, the American auto industry just needs to be smothered with a pillow and killed in the middle of the night.
