City Night Swimming?

A question from a reader:
Like many of the people on cap hill, I have spent the past 3 nights unable to sleep. I was suprised walking around at 4:30 in the morning, still too hot to sleep, that there was nowhere to go to cool off.The police were doing rounds at Madison beach every 30 minutes last night, and kicked out all the night swimmers.
My question: Where can someone go in the middle of the night to cool off from this heat?!
