A judge in Florida has just passed down a ruling that Jack Kerouac's will is a fake. Kerouac died in 1969. The estate is valued at twenty million dollars.

The root AP story reports it's the mother's will, not Jack's, declared invalid. Looks like his will was clear, leaving his assets to mom. The dispute is over mom's supposed will, which in turn left her late son's assets to x instead of y, etc. etc.

I remember, when I was but a child in Texas, Jack said he wanted to leave it to someone who appreciated fine women and traveling.

Personally, I just thought he was a creepy old dude, so I burnt the will in our fireplace.
