But hey, it looks like it worked to get her the attention she desired (if not totally in the positive way she might have hoped)!

Wow... She's still alive? She cracks my shit up. Used to see her all the time at The Pink Door. Didn't know she was still in town. Hadn't thought of her in years!

Oh... and if you were familiar with her work, you would know that self aggrandizement is a key element of most of her characters (especially the one in the video) all of which are satirical.

I feel so sorry for Ballard. Between the rapidly receding hairline and the fetus-like facial features, I'm convinced this person is probably met with gasps or silent judgment when they're walking down the street.

She's an unstoppable geyser of Showbiz. Like Liza.

I like her. I used to really like seeing her at the pink door back in the 90s. She was hilarious and cool.

And to the naysayers, she might not be as hipster-cool as the latest Capitol Hill band but she's clearly got staying power. She is indeed a treasure, imho.

She's hot. God (my God, not yours) bless classy, older women.

Wonder if she'll be at the Ballard Seafood Fest this weekend?

She's clearly having a great time lampooning the pseudo-jazz scene - what's not to love? But not being a part of the Seattle hipster squad what do I know? Wish I was having half as much fun....
