Chow Vegetarian on Wheels

When Dominic Holden reviewed Maximus Minimus and Marination Mobile recently, he tried the veggie sandwich at the former (sadly finding it "a gastronomic catastrophe," though he loved the meat version) but neglected to sample any vegetarian fare at the latter. (It must be his partial-meat agenda!) Now Herbivoracious finishes the job, pronouncing Marination Mobile's tofu tacos "vegetarian and delicious."

Marination Mobile's on Capitol Hill tonight, 10 p.m.—2:30 a.m., at Pike and Broadway, and tomorrow they're in Ballard, 11 a.m.—2 p.m. at the Cheka-Looka Surf Shop, 6300 Seaview Ave NW.

Thanks for being veg-friendly the last couple days, it's not unnoticed. :)

A partial-meat agenda is fine. A lot of meat-centric restaurants slap together gastronomic catastrophes as meat-free options are pretty much required to stay in business. It's great to know which are good and which are crap.

That looks delicious -- I'm going to try something similar this weekend. Eaten on the deck, under the sun, with tequila.

The roasted potato and asparagus tacos he linked to looked awesome, too.

According to their website, they'll be in West Seattle tomorrow and in Ballard on Sunday.

Herbivoracious has a ton of what look like great recipes--most of which are created by the blogger himself. I just bookmarked the potato and asparagus tacos last week!

If you get the tofu taco without the sauce, it's even vegan.

Caveat: I'm not vegetarian, so I can fully endorse every taco on the menu. Never leave Capitol Hill, Marination! We love you!
