...it's the breastfeeding baby doll from Spain. "Babel Fish translates the doll’s name as Baby Glutton."

Thanks (I think) to Slog tippa Pazaga.

You directed me to the most excruciating web site I've ever visited.

this is good in the sense that it is annoying that all dolls come with bottles...however it is not nessary becouse children can mimic breastfeeding without a werid bra thing with flowers. my son used to "nurse" his rubber ducky and his firetrucks.

I gotta like anything that takes a swipe at our stupid bottle feeding culture.

Like the concept, but find the battery powered "glug glug" & flower bra gross and unnecessary.

I just wish the flower bra came in my size.

While breastfeeding is a normal function of adult women there is something disturbingly sexual about that doll. Sort of like so many girl's facination with riding horses.

Funny how the Spanish try to appear all European and such when in actuality they are just a bunch of glorified Mexicans but without the tacos.

#3, I'm with you. Let's get over it already.

The fewer moms shamed into bottle-feeding, the better off the next generation will be.

Du-uh, that came out stupid. Sorry. Carry on.

I think you've gotten it backwards #10. I'm a mom that was "shamed" because I bottle-fed. If you're not a breast-feeding mama anymore you are SHUNNED. Literally. I can't tell you how many cold shoulders I got from mom's who deemed themselves to be more nurturing & all-around better then me.

i couldn't help but notice that the doll comes with a pacifier, anathema to la leche league.

#13, if la leche league is still opposed to pacifiers, it means they're not keeping up on the science. Not only have recent studies shown pacifiers to be effective in reducing SIDS, but they've also been demonstrated to not interfere with breastfeeding success:

Unless LLL is just like so many other special interest groups who only like science if it agrees with their previously stated positions...
