they cut to the heart of it: Palin doesn't want to work. she could have coasted through her term with a friendly legislature had she "blinked" and passed on McCain. The flow reversed, she had to swim upstream, and it seems that was just too darn hard.

Why work when she can make millions of dollars more by not working? She's the embodiment of the modern American dream--getting famous and rich without having any actual skill or talent.
