Getting Off Easy

Posted by on Mon, Jul 13, 2009 at 2:21 PM

As a general rule never leave a tied-up person alone...

A judge sentenced a Columbia woman to 18 months in jail in the death of her husband during a sex game. Rebecca Bargy, who is 26, was sentenced Monday in the death of her 29-year-old husband James Bargy in April 2008, according to The Daily Herald of Columbia.

Rebecca Bargy was convicted May 20 of negligent homicide — a lesser charge than the second-degree murder indictment against her. She was accused of tying up and gagging her husband as part of a bondage fantasy and leaving him alone in their mobile home for 20 hours while she was with another man she had met on the Internet.

...but if you must—and some must—never leave 'em alone gagged and never for 20 freakin' hours.

Yeah, that seems like basic S & M 101. For that matter, I'd like there to BE a Basic S & M 101 site, booklet, something. I've heard of more dumbass injuries in the name of heightened kink...

Or maybe there is one, & I'm just not cool enough to know about it. ;)

sex games don't kill people, stupidity kills people.

Goodness, that seems like a no brainer. Couldn't she have just have used another room with her Internet buddy, or put her husband in the closet and left the door cracked? Why 20 hours, I doubt it would take her husband 20 hours to let his imagination run wild? Call me crazy but an alive lover is better than a dead one, or a dehydrated, hugry one that desperately needs the loo.

This is a sad story.

Nope, she's a murderer, pure and not so simple. This was not accidental. Lock her up and throw away the key. Let her have some bondage realities.

This has been a strange story from the get-go. It sounds like, if you added the two of them together, you'd end up with a half-wit. Way too much brain damage all the way around.

I don't know if there is a SM 101 website but there is definitely a SM 101 book. It was written by Jay Wiseman and it is titled (imaginatively enough) "SM 101: A Realistic Introduction".

@8 I like the original version. It gave me a vision of some poor SM newbie, tied up and all alone, realizing he's not so keen on the idea after all, and in desperate need of a hug.

Let us know when these links are to Fox anything. If you can rely on Fox for any details, this apparently was Columbia, TN.

I hope it's 18 months tied up and gagged. Bitch!

As we all know, it's absolutely safe if it's just 19 hours.

20 hours is the magic number.

Out of Madison, WI today is the death of a young man engaged in what officials thinks was a "choking game", or the use of chocking to get high. http://www.channel3000.com/news/20039568…

I am skeptical as to how this could have been negligence. Is anybody really that thoughtless? It's just too convenient a cover for premeditated murder.

In fact, as a blatant plug, there are plenty of good books on the subject. Wiseman's SM 101 among them.
