News Give Me A Fucking Minute

Sixty seconds with Congressman Jay Inslee, in which the Democrat from Washington's 1st District talks by phone from D.C. about health care reform, the public option, and Maria Cantwell. (And then trash talks for about 30 more seconds—the buzzer couldn't stop him—about how he still wants to see Obama on the basketball court.)

Jay has taken a swing district that was previously represented in the House by douche bags like Rick White and Maria Cantwell, and turned it into a solid Democratic district with a solid Democratic Representative. He has shown that by being a leader, working hard, and sticking to principles you can win over a district and serve your country well. (If Maria was still representing the First she would be voting Republican 49% of the time and blaming the district privately.)
