Suddenly in Seattle

Posted by Charles Mudede on Fri, Jul 3, 2009 at 10:57 AM

policebeat2_feature.jpg If you are free in a couple of hours, my film Police Beat will make an appearance on a screen in the Northwest Film Forum. Afterward, I'll talk about cities and stuff with the novelist Matthew Stadler and the German urban planner Thomas Sieverts.

One Pot also has a Sievert's event this evening at the opening of the Suddenly Exhibition in Pioneer Square. These are things you might like to do.

Did you guys see "Year One"?

What about that abusive high priest?

Pretty funny, huh?

Saw it on Sundance channel a couple of years ago. Favorite scene was the one in Gasworks Park.

What we need is an extended Mudede essay about the meanings of the film (and also his take on and anecdotes about the direction and art direction). Also more brilliant essays like Mudede's notes from Pioneer Square underground memoir. And maybe word salads less drenched in Mudede's Secret Heidegger Sauce.

Too many brainiacs. You need to add Lindy to that panel.
