Yesterday I slogged about Todd S. Purdum's Vanity Fair story on Sarah Palin.

Last night I fought off nightmares off Palin's scary potential. From Vanity Fair:

In Evansville...Palin concentrated on the task at hand: an emphatic defense of the anti-abortion cause. But in doing so she made a startling confession about what she thought when she learned she was pregnant at 43 with her youngest child, Trig, who arrived in April 2008, as the world now knows, with Down syndrome. “I had found out that I was pregnant while out of state first,” Palin told the crowd. “While out of state, there just for a fleeting moment, I thought, Nobody knows me here. Nobody would ever know. I thought, Wow, it is easy to think maybe of trying to change the circumstances and no one would know—no one would ever know. Then when my amniocentesis results came back, showing what they called abnormalities—oh, dear God—I knew, I had instantly an understanding, for that fleeting moment, why someone would believe it could seem possible to change those circumstances, just make it all go away, get some normalcy back in life.” It is almost impossible not to be touched by the rawness of her confession, even if it is precisely this choice that Palin believes no other woman should ever have, not even in the case of rape or incest.

Clearly the woman is a narcissistic sociopath who will say or do anything. Which brings us to our quiz.

What job do you think lies in Sarah Palin's future?

That quote you have excerpted shows her to be the opposite of a narcissist.

Do you even know what you are talking about?

PS: I really dislike her.

Where's the option for "Semen-stained death in an Anchorage opium den"?

A future joke or political reference. Which, in concept and context makes sense, but nobody can remember exactly why it makes sense because the person responsible was so inconsequential to history.

Example: Yeah he totally went all Dan Quayle! (many under 30 understand this is a bad thing but not sure why or how Dan Quayle is a bad thing)

hope that makes sense

You know... just because she keeps talking doesn't mean you have to keep on reporting. You could choose not to. Choose not to be her audience. I'm told acts only work on an audience.

Damn it, that quote almost makes her seem human. Though I still hope she falls out of a helicopter and gets eaten by wolves.

I hope she disappears, but she's to ambitious to do that. She'll be a pundit.

People are too stupid to understand that the choice they have would not be a choice if they had their choice about choice.
