I literally had a conversation with a couple of baristas about this show 3 days ago. This wouldn't be remarkable other than the fact that I haven't thought about this tv show in decades.

Thank you Lindy West! For years,every time the subject of crappy Saturday morning cartoons comes up (apparently often), I'm always the guy going, "Remember that one where the kid turns into a car?" No one ever does, and while I was sure it existed, I couldn't for the life of me remember what it was called. "Car kid?" No. "Teenformer." No. At last I know: Turbo Teen!

Dear God I used to watch this cartoon. I had no idea how craptacular it was. Why is it when you go back and watch these things they are completely different (horrible) than you remember them? And why the hell do they always get remade by Hollywood as an even crappier movie? Why?
