Chris,
Did you see Obama has selected a Church to attend? His new pastor is a graduate of the Citadel and the great-nephew of Johnny Cash. He earned his theology degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth — and, yes, that means Obama's new pastor is a Southern Baptist.
What will this mean for the gays?

I like it when it's Mr. Frizzelle's week to do the Morning News. It means those of us on the East Coast get the Morning News while it's still morning here too!

@2, yeah, I spent a couple weeks on the East Coast (Atlanta and Boston) earlier this month, and it really sucks. There's no point even bothering to look at Slog much before lunch-time.

The Unspoken 7
Christopher, can this soccer fetish be explained by your recent article about the soccer guy you fell for then seemingly threatened to kill you?

@7: So he likes soccer suckers and rugger buggers. Who doesn't? :)

Seriously, all of sports fandom falls somewhere along a continuum stretching from latent or overt homophilia to admiration of physical prowess to living vicariously. And maybe one or two other markers I can't conjure up at the moment.
