I'm sorry to hear it. She fought long and hard against cancer. My condolences to her son, family, and friends.

"Dan Savage: Gay"

Seriously, that's a bit of a non-blog.

Her poster helped me know I was gay. Someone so pretty, with awesome hair, and those cute li'l nipples - if she did nothing for me, I knew it had to be true.

RIP, foxy lady.

Sigh.

She may be followed by one of our LineOut commenters too, sadly.

Ryan O' Neal didn't get a chance to marry her. He'd asked for the umpteenth time & she'd finally said yes. I guess she knew she was going.

Oh no. It seems like every time I look at the news another icon is gone. And it's not like my generation is replacing them with anyone worth a damn ... or an enduringly pretty poster on the wall.

My favorite joke from third grade:

What did Lee Majors say to the plumber?
You're screwing the wrong faucet!

We always made fun of my neighbor growing up because he had The Farah Fawcett poster on his door. You know the one. My neighbor finally came out a while back. If Farah in all her incredible hotness couldn't "turn" him straight, no one could. RIP pretty lady.

That linked article was a really unflattering synopsis of her life.

HA! Hilarious. Whatever works. But you're not alone. That poster also does nuthin' for me. Zzzzz... Helps me confirm I'm straight. ...But give me a Mark Wahlberg poster in boxer briefs? Nooooooow, we're talkin'...
