In his tearful admission this morning, South Carolina Governor Mark Sanford said he had been unfaithful to his wife with a "dear friend" from Argentina, with whom he had "developed a relationship." "It began very innocently...," said the one-time would-be GOP hopeful, "in just a casual e-mail back and forth..."
No pronouns. No hints at a gender. Just a dear friend he met over the internet. Fine. If he wants us to fill in the blanks with our imaginations, so be it.
What do you imagine this "dear friend" to be?

I think it's fabulous that his idea of unwinding from inner turmoil is going out early in the morning and riding a hoe while country music is blasting.

It could well be a sissy boy. Maybe a transformer, they're very abundant in those parts of South America actually. An Argentinian paparazzi must be cashing on big $$$ for some snap shots of the governor with some tranny named Tango as we speak.

In all seriousness tho, this is nothing short of sad not because of sleazeball pervs like him but because of his wife and their kids. At least he didn't make his wife stand beside him while he admitted to having an affair, I just cringe whenever I see that.

wow. if he really wrote those, dead gov sanford is quite the romantic. but... it's "WHIRL WIND tour" not "world wind tour." that always bugs me.
