"The 37th president would have aborted the 44th."

Will we ever not have Nixon to kick around anymore?

#1. Stay classy? Um . . . I doubt any of us can top the sheer loathsomeness of what Nixon said.

Of course not, Dan. We've all seen "Futurama"...

Tell me this is out of context...somebody, please...like maybe the next few words were "side to a situation" or something.... because, I mean, really he said that?

I wouldn't have minded if the wife of the 41st president had aborted the 43rd president.

Aww, what a blatant hypocritical world this would be without the Nixon tapes, thanks to them we know what scumbags like him really think about African Americans. May he and....*ahem*... all that think like him but don't have the balls or ovaries to say what he said roast eternally in the fiery pits of Hell!

Amen.

Every time there's a new batch of Nixon tapes he's saying something like this. The guy was a first class bigot on top of being a raving paranoid.

Uh, we don't have him to kick around now, he's still dead, right?

I just wish his thoughts were as dead as him.

Stuff accidentally gets recorded after tragic accidents. We can extract some lost details about peasant life from the Inquisition's interrogation records. Nixon's paranoia killed a lot of people who are sorely missed, but results in slightly more evidenced opinions about Nixon today. We learn about organizational details in the 1990's White House from the Starr report. My eight tiny nieces and nephews will know all about my long-distance relationships thanks to decisions approved by George W. Bush.

Loveschild,

I must second Rob In Baltimore. I love the hypocrisy you portray here. But then I guess you DO have the balls to stand up and spout your own bigotry. Well done.
