A better question: "What trimester is her *mother* in?"

Dan, you have to be female to have a trimester. No one knows which gender she is; it's like a conservative Pat.

Are you implying that Ann Coulter is a mammal?

Eh... this is just part of her unchanging routine. Every couple of months, she purposefully says the the stupidest shit so that she can grab some headlines for a 35 hour news cycle. It's always the same thing. Unfortunately, it always seems to work. Stop acting like she isn't doing this on purpose.

on the plus side, she's so batshit o'reilly has no choice but to be reasonable in order to maintain the facade of "fair and balanced." it takes an assload of crazy to accomplish that.

One of these days, her mask will fall off, we'll hear a shrill "SKREE!" and she's vanish in a poof of smoke.

Rush Limbaugh will blame it on the liberal left.

That woman needs help. A life is a life, if you're for the sanctity and respect of the unborn you must also be for the born, even when they're individuals of dubious morals, it's still a precious life in the eyes of God. Acknowledging that in no way condones what Mr Tiller did.

O'Reilly as the rationale one, that's interesting.

I love the comment about how many third-trimester abortions were performed. So shocking! Except wait, do we have any information about how many of those were for late diagnoses of conditions that are "incompatible with life" (e.g., Trisomy 18, fetuses developing without key organs)?

I'd love O'Reilly to interview a couple that had to face that terrible diagnosis and decision, travel to Kansas to have the procedure with Dr. Tiller (since he was one of the only doctors in the country who would/could do it), and then had to put up with protesters and scorn from the likes of Ann Coulter. See A Heartbreaking Choice.

Why does anyone have to condone what Dr. Tiller did, Love(s)child? I condone what he did; does that make me a bad person? And what do God's eyes have to do with anything? What about the rest of His parts?

Maybe O'Reilly needs somebody to come on his show and advocate the murder of Tiller so he can pretend he was against it.

Ah Christ people, stop acting like Bill O'Reilly has suddenly become all calm and reasonable in this clip. His calmness in this segment is just as much an act as his outrage in his other ones. It's all an act. All this stuff is basically like professional wrestling, with the premise and outcome preplanned.

Anyone who believes that Ann Coulter didn't write this remark in advance or that Bill O'Reilly didn't walk into this knowing that he was going to play the reasonable character is just as naive as all the Fox News viewers who believe all of their other ridiculous antics. This is acting. This is entertainment on a news channel. None of of this is spontaneous. Whether it is acting good or evil, it's still just a big put-on designed to attract viewers.

Charming.

This is as good a time as any to announce that I've decided I support a mother's right to kill her child at any point in its life. It's the "I brought you into this world and I can TAKE YOU OUT!" philosophy. Some people are clearly mistakes, but you don't know it until they start to talk (Coulter being Exhibit A).

@47: That's a nasty, sexist word. Maybe we should coin a new one to replace it. How about "Coulter"?

Also, did anyone ever see Cuntler on the Boondocks? They wrote her as a hard-hustling, book-pushing and bordeline likeable fraud who didn't believe anything she said or wrote. Very funny esp. since the real Ann Coulter is genuinely cracked and evil.

LEE. 49
have none of you ever actually seen or heard a Bill O'Reily show before? his acting calm and collected like he actually cares about both sides of the arguement has kind of always been his thing. that's what makes him so dangerous. he wins people over with his normally rational, "balanced" act. sure there's been times where he's freaked out and other times where he sounds legitimately insane, but really this is nothing new.

and I'll add that I eagerly await Ann Coulter being devoured by wolves. I heard it's the October Suprise that will rocket the Sarah Palin/Vincent Gallo ticket into the White House in '12. what a couple of lookers those two would be together!

Loveschild @32 to think that the service Tiller provided was wrong, or even unnecessary, makes it clear you have little clue the kinds of circumstances that lead to a late-term abortion.

Check the numerous stories on The Daily Dish, the series called It's So Personal. There are many stories, so I'll let you run your own Google search.

What I've noticed to be the case amongst the abortion access obstructionist community is not only are they unaware of the conditions incompatible with life that lead to late-term abortions, but typically they don't want to know. It's so much easier to condemn a group of people who are all careless, absent-minded sluts going in to get their perfect-but-unborn Hummelware children slaughtered under the knife, than it is real good-natured people who typically hoped and expected to be parents until late-gestation discoveries turned such dreams tragic.

First - I am NOT an Ann Coulter fan by any stretch.

But a lot of you seem to be misinterpreting this clip. She's being sarcastic (and trying to be funny and failing - miserably). She's saying that if abortion isn't considered murder, then neither is the killing of Dr. Tiller. But, as she clearly is not an abortion supporter, she also sees Dr. Tiller's murder for what it is, too. She's trying to use "pro-choice" logic against them. She's being snide and comparing apples and oranges, of course, and is clearly wrong - but that's what she's doing.

If you're going to be pissed at Ann Coulter, you should at least be pissed off at what she's doing and not what it looks like she's doing, or what you think she's doing. It's not like there isn't plenty of material!

Teresa Jusino @57 I think I agree with you: what I see Coulter doing (badly) is appealing to cheap humor, what counts for making an argument for those who aren't bright enough or educated enough to know what it means to actually state a case (i.e. declare a position based on a set of mutually understood pretenses and a progression of logic).

In short, she's trying to make an Adam and Steve argument, and attempt that falls pretty flat.

For those of us who take the time to learn both sides of an issue, to formulate real opinions, this sort of snarking only seems to cheapen the debate by reducing it to a capping contest, hence belittling the magnitude of the issue's controversy.

In short, Coulter's stated position really demonstrates she doesn't take the abortion debate very seriously, perhaps only using it as an engine to insult liberals (her favorite target). But it sure entertains the naked apes that watch FOX news, or think Ms. Coulter is worthy of serious consideration.

Too easy. Coulter's obviously a troll, and she speaks only with the intention of pissing off everyone on the other side of the fence. Why she is given any sort of audience by you guys is beyond me. I don't even think Republicans take her all that seriously in general, and that she's considered anything more than a novelty, kind of like how we consider the likes of Stephen Colbert.
