Are You on Washington's Basic Health Plan?

Posted by on Tue, Jun 23, 2009 at 8:57 AM

And worried about how you'll deal with the new rate increases? Please send me an e-mail, subject line "Basic Health," and tell me about your situation—I'd love to include you in a story I'm working on.

I'm on Regent and I don't know how I'm going to afford their rate increases, either. They don't cover preventative medicine, either, which I also don't know how I'm going to pay for.

Are you including all the people that were cut from the BHP?

Yep, the consequences of these spikes need to be further explored cause it seems they're just shifting the problem unto medicaid. Taking this option away precisely from those who need it the most.

I wish that I had been able to get onto BH in the first place. The people who were able to get on and are having their rates increase are the lucky ones.
