Dr. Pearl Explains It All

The 6/18 episode of Gil Thorp is the middle of a very important episode about sexting. You can read this week's series, including naked teenage boys wearing Red Bull and Twinkies boxes for underpants, here. I had never heard of Gil Thorp before, but based on the drawing of the titular hero, at right, he is a man with a brush cut who is in an advanced hypnotic state.

Oh, god, Gil Thorp is the greatest thing in the comics. It's not quite as good now that they have an artist who can actually draw a little, but it's always good for a laugh. You should really be reading Comics Curmudgeon, Paul.

Wow. Gil Thorpe is an odd-duck strip for sexting to rear its head. My money would have been on Mary Worth (dark horse: Judge Parker).

McGee, on Mary Worth mentioning that you went on a dinner date with someone is considered "sexting".

My mother was a teenager the last time those comics were worth reading. Jesus.

5280, tis not true. If you frequented the Comics Curmudgeon you'd know better than to say that.

Ah Fnarf, right you'd be. Hell if I know old Mary she is probably still working on the scourge of hope chests.
