MySpace is cutting their workforce by almost 30%. Friendster was unavailable for comment.

Ok, that was weak. The only giggle I'm really getting out of any of this is picturing a News Corp executive trying to explain to Rupert Murdoch what Myspace is.

I wish I could delete my myspace page. They never send me the confirmatory email for the deletion. After contacting tech support, they just gave me the link that sends me on the confirmatory email path again...bastards.

Facebook will do this too someday, once users move on to the next thing. There is always, will always, be a next thing that is better/cooler.
