I first became aware of porn star Mary Carey during her 2003 run for California governor, but didn't really get to know her until her season-long stint on VH1's Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew, where she 'fessed up to the hardcore substance abuse that helped make her career in hardcore porn seem like a good idea, and tearfully vowed to put her substance-soaked sex work behind her.

After Celebrity Rehab, Carey continued to work on her new life via the Celebrity Rehab spinoff Sober House.

Mary Carey, who starred in VH1’s “Celebrity Rehab With Dr. Drew” and the subsequent spin-off “Sober House,” returns to the triple-X fold after a three-year hiatus. “Celebrity Pornhab With Dr. Screw” streets today from Red Light District. “There are so many spoof movies, but how often do you see a parody staring the person who was really on the show?” Carey asked.

"For those of you wondering about my feelings about Mary [Carey's] choice to mock: Res ipsa loquitur," the real-life Dr. Drew Tweeted in response to the new title. "[Pornhab] makes me very sad."

Half of me agrees this is sad. The other half wonders who's playing dr Screw.
