Never realized she died (22Jun) less than two weeks after her own birthday.

Always knew I was different somehow from other kids, and didn't really know what that meant for a very long time. But, I did know that I loved me some Judy, and was nuts about the Wizard of Oz. And just how my mother didn't figure it out from those two clues alone..... - LOL.

Thank you girl. Losing you was just too much to bear, and you started it all 40yrs ago in a little place called Stonewall.

May she rest in peace.

Asking if someone was a Friend of Dorothy was how I skated by for quite a long time. What a tragic figure.

Here's a good birthday prezzie for her though:

Thank you Dan. Happy Pride month!! To this day no matter how many times I see her sing she still does the same thing she did to me over 45 years ago. Touches my soul and seems she knows me by her delivery and the passion of her performance - like an old friend that knows how to comfort me - Thank you Dan and a Happy Pride month to you and your family (the boy friend and the kid) - Sounds kind of like something Judy would say...
